The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (the UN SDGs) were adopted by UN member states in 2015 as a non-binding resolution called `Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.` The SDGs serve as a global framework for sustainable development and provide 17 goals and 169 targets to address various social, economic, and environmental challenges, guiding and inspiring national, regional and local action.

Implementing the UN SDGs locally can certainly contribute to addressing the cities' challenges and overcoming them to be more sustainable and resilient. Working with Engineers, technical experts and innovations for sustainable development, the cities can leverage diverse expertise, knowledge, resources, and partnerships to improve the environment, society and economy more effectively and efficiently, and create a better life for every citizen.

We, as engineers and technology experts in partnership with corporate innovations, public institutions, and project investors are accelerating a sustainable new future, all aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
